Cancer From Cigarettes

Is it true that menthol cigarettes DO NOT contain the chemicals that cause cancer?
is it true ?



i know that one of the main causes of lung cancer is cigarettes, but i have been told a few times that menthol cigarettes do not cause cancer because they have different 'ingredients' in them.



i would never smoke myself, neither would i encourage other people to smoke. this is bugging me and i really want to know though !

The Menthol flavor comes from the filter, not from what is rolled in the Cigarette. Menthols do the same things to you as a regular Cigarette, they just taste different.
