Is it illegal to transport cigarettes between state lines?
with the new tax laws in iowa, some people are considering making the trip to missouri of illinois... just curious what the law says about that.

You are required to pay the State Tax on the Cigarettes when you bring them into the State.
If you fail to notify the State that you brought the cigarettes from another State and fail to pay the tax, that is a violation of the law.
