How do cigarette companies test how much tar the filters block?
Hey guys i was curious as to how do cigarette companies test how much tar the filter collects ? Is it some kind of machine, is there a way I could conduct that same test at home?

They actually have automatic cigarette smoking machines that hold say 10-12 or more cigarettes simultaneously and automatically draw on them like a human mouth. The filters can be analysed afterwards.
