Marlboro Milds Cigarettes
What is the difference between Marlboro Red Medium and Marlboro Red 72s?
I don't smoke cigarettes and never intend to start, but I am very curious about the difference between the two. Thank you in advance. :-)

First, I'm not sure how this question ended up in the "beer and wine" section, but I digress.
Cigarettes are made with different blends of tobacco. The difference between Reds and Mediums is the blend. Reds are considered "full flavor" while Mediums are blended down to a more "mild" flavor.
Also, they come in different lengths. The "standard" doesn't have a number attached. There are 72's and 100's which are shorter and longer than the standard, respectively.
So basically, Marlboro Red Medium is a standard length, mild flavor. Marlboro Red 72s are a shorter length, full flavor.
Caveat: The term "mild" should not be confused with Marlboro Milds, which are a blend of menthol and regular flavors.
