New Yorkers, Where do you get your cheap cigarettes?
I live in New York State and smoke Marlboro's.... I have never ordered cigarettes online before, but looking for some suggestions that will not hit me come tax time!

Don't even THINK of buying them on line! NY is notorious for demanding customer records from on-line tobacco vendors and billing smokers a couple of years down the road for all of the tobacco excise and sales taxes that were not paid. Bills running well in excess of $5,000 are NOT uncommon, and that's before the penalties and interest are tacked on.
Tobacco vendors are required to surrender these records under federal law. They will roll on you in a New York minute, if you know what I mean!
Compared to NYC prices, Delaware is a relative bargain and about $40 a carton less. Virginia is downright cheap at over $50 a carton less. Drive on down, but don't buy near the border areas as there are occasionally undercover state revenue agents looking for out-of-state tags to bust you when you cross the state line.
