Why limited availability of menthols on russian/ukraine/moldova cigarette sites?
I've been buying cigarettes online from Russia, Ukraine and/or Moldova over the last several years and suddenly these websites seem to be unable to deliver menthol cigarettes. Some of the sites list Salem but it seems like almost none of them list Newport or Kool. Many of them list Salem but show "Temporarily unavailable". Well it's been months now that they've been "Temporarily unavailable". Is there some legal reason menthol cigarettes are far less available on these sites?

Until recently menthol cigarettes in king size were not produced in Ukraine, so almost all menthol cigarettes were shipped from Russia. In 2007 on-line vendors stopped shipping cigarettes from Russia due to the new administrative regulations making international tobacco shipments impossible. Marlboro Menthol Lights are now available in Ukraine in two flavors Fresh Mint and Crisp Mint. My sister is a menthol smoker and she had hard time finding available and cheap menthol brands. I've ordered Ukrainian Marlboro Menthol for her at one of the web-sites and asked the same question.
