Cigarette Odor Eliminator

How to get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke?
I live with my grandma and she smokes, a lot. Therefore my room and clothes smell like smoke as well. I do not smoke but my room some how still smells like smoke. It bothers me. I don't like the smell. What is the simplest way to get rid of the smell.

During hunting season most places with a sporting goods department or a sporting goods store will have "No Scent" laundry soap, spray, shampoo all for getting rid of human scent. This stuff works better than frebreeze. Keep ash trays emtied throughout the house as much as possible, leave windows open as much as possible. Possibly hang plastic in front of your door to keep some smoke out of your area. Your walls will have to be sealed with a odor eliminator paint/primer and I would say carpet and pad will have to be replaced to really get rid of smell. But all of this will only work if you can keep the smoke from coming back. They also make a machine called an air scrubber but they are expensive and not real quiet. Hope some of this helps.
