Cigarette Smoke Alarms
Will smoking weed set off my smoke alarm?
I would have assumed the answer to this question was YES, however, burning incense does NOT set off my smoke alarm.
The alarm goes off all the time when I am cooking (even if nothing is burning) but thick incense smoke (that is actually closer to it than the stove) does nothing whatsoever.
I can't take the batteries out, unfortunately, because it is electric AND has batteries. If you take the batteries out, it just keeps beeping.
Does anyone know if weed would set it off, or if it would be the same as the incense smoke?

It depends. If your smoke alarm goes off that easily from things burning in the oven, then most likely weed or cigarettes will set it off too. With the incense there is no paper burning or anything, and it's a different type of smoke.
