List Of Cigarette Companies

Do cigarette companies pay to have their ads in gas stations or do the gas stations just put them up?
I'm developing a business plan for an entrepreneurship class (toughest paper I've ever done!!!) but anyways I need to know this for the advertising part of the plan. Please list a source or tell me how you know this! Thanks a bunch!

An old girl friend works for Phillip Morris, has now for over 35 years and I have helped her and her boys do some of the paperwork and have exchanged questions and answers with all of them, learning a lot in the process.



One thing I did learn was that the tobacco industry is and has always been a very competitive business and their site advertising displays have always been there to help the customer decide who's cigarettes they wanted to buy.



Since advertising is all about marketing a product, the more you can influence the buyer to buy your product over the other one, the more money you will earn and the better the retailer will do, so tobacco companies supply all the on site advertising to merchants who are selling their products.
