Is it legal to purchase French cigarettes online in the State of Texas?
I fell in love with Gauloise cigarettes whilst visiting the South of France a few years back, and I recently found several websites where I can purchase them online and have them shipped to the US. I was wondering, are there any laws prohibiting this in Texas? Would I have to pay duty on them?
(And yes, I'm aware smoking is bad for me. Please spare me the lectures.)

It would be illegal only if duty and state sales and excise tax wasn't paid on them. But you can probably just order them from a specialty tobacco shop.
